Jennifer Kjos Quinlan has been an outstanding member of the Saint Xavier athletics staff for ten years and currently serves as the Facility Director of the Shannon Athletic Center, a position she has held for seven years. Prior to this appointment, Kjos Quinlan acted as the Center's Fitness Coordinator. In March 2010, she honored with the prestigious Sister Isodore Perrigo Award for Service. This award is given to one staff member each year for their service and dedication to the university
Kjos Quinlan oversees all operations of the Shannon Center including athletic events, special events, intramurals and fitness activities as well as manages two full-time Assistant Facility Directors and more than 50 student employees. She oversees the annual Cougar 5K Run/Walk which now draws more than 1,000 participants. Kjos Quinlan developed and currently runs the annual SXU Health Fair which attracts more than 500 community members each year. She also coordinates fitness events and challenges for the Saint Xavier community. Kjos Quinlan is a member of NIRSA (National Intramural, Recreation, Sports Association) and volunteers her time with local community charities including the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Kjos Quinlan graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a degree in Sports Management in 1998. In 2004 she completed the MBA program at Saint Xavier specializing in Marketing. She currently resides in Chicago with her husband Chris and two children, Sadie and Jeremy.
