CHICAGO - Saint Xavier University women's basketball coach Bob Hallberg will host his annual girl's basketball camp, which runs from Monday, June 10, until Friday, June 14, and will be open to all girls between the ages of 7 and 15.  In prior years, the camp was divided into two, one-week sessions; however for 2013, the camp will consist of just one session, which will run daily from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.  The camp will be held in the Shannon Center on the Chicago campus of Saint Xavier University.

CHICAGO – Revi McMahon, a 5-6 senior point guard at Stagg High School in Palos Hills, Ill., recently signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's basketball program.  The Palos Park, Ill., native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2013 and compete for playing time on the court during the 2013-14 season.  Saint Xavier University women's basketball coach Bob Hallberg feels that McMahon is a perfect fit for his program's style of play and that she will make a seamless transition to the college game.

ATLANTA - Saint Xavier University sophomore guard/forward Morgan Stuut (Marcellus, Mich./Three Rivers) was one of just four NAIA (Division I & II) women's basketball players nationwide to be named a finalist for the 2013 State Farm®/Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NAIA Player of the Year award presented by State Farm and the WBCA.  The award is given out annually to the top player in each of five WBCA membership divisions (NCAA Divisions II, III, NAIA, junior/community college and high school), while the State Farm Wade Trophy is presented annually to the NCAA Division I player of the year.  The winners are announced during the third annual WBCA Awards Show on Monday, April 8, in New Orleans as part of the WBCA National Convention.  Stuut joins Westmont College senior forward Tugce Canitez, Northwestern College senior forward Kendra DeJong and Oklahoma City University senior forward Lauren Gober as the NAIA national finalists.

Sioux City, Iowa - Saint Xavier University sophomore guard/forward Morgan Stuut (Marcellus, Mich./Three Rivers) was one of just 10 players nationwide to claim a spot on the 2012-13 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball All-America First Team when the national office released the honors Wednesday afternoon. The All-America Teams are selected by the NAIA All-America committee. In addition, senior guard Maureen Riley (Alma, Mich./Sacred Heart Academy) represented the SXU women's basketball team as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete earlier this week. To be named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a player must have reached at least junior academic status and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.

Sioux City, Iowa – Jumping out to a 13-2 lead in the first five minutes of play, No. 1 seeded and No. 2 ranked University of Saint Francis (Ind.) never looked back in defeating No. 5 seeded Saint Xavier University, 82-69, in second round action of the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship Friday afternoon at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  With the loss, the Cougars end their season with an overall record of 25-7.  USF was dominant in the lane throughout the game holding a 55-27 rebounding edge and outscoring SXU 48-20 in the paint.  Sophomore guard/forward Morgan Stuut (Marcellus, Mich./Three Rivers) led the Cougars on the day recording team-bests of 13 points and six rebounds.

Sioux City, Iowa - The Saint Xavier University men's basketball team cannot be the only team receiving all of the attention during the NAIA Division II National Championships so we have brought all of the Cougar faithful an exclusive photo gallery from the Parade of Champions as well as the annual NAIA Banquet held for all 32 teams competing in the Women's National Tournament.  SXU will take on No. 2 nationally ranked and No. 1 seeded University of Saint Francis (Ind.) on Friday, March 8.  The game is set for a 12 p.m. tip off from the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
