

CHICAGO – Danielle Koncius, a junior goalkeeper from Palos Hills, Ill., who transfers in from Heartland Community College in Normal, Ill., along with a pair of incoming freshmen in forward Julia Gawlak of Hickory Hills, Ill., and defender Gina Rodriguez of Glen Ellyn, Ill., have all recently signed letters of intent to continue both their athletic and academic careers at Saint Xavier University as members of the Cougar women's soccer program. The trio joins the roster this fall and will compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 campaign. Saint Xavier University women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau is excited about the additions and loves the fact that he is able to find such a wealth of talent so close to SXU's Chicago campus.

CHICAGO – Alexandra Perry, a senior goalkeeper at Oakville Senior High School in St. Louis, Mo., and Delanie Bosworth, a senior midfielder at Grandville High School in Grandville, Mich., both recently signed letters of intent to continue both their athletic and academic careers at Saint Xavier University as members of the Cougar women's soccer program. The two incoming freshmen join the roster in the fall of 2013 and compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 campaign. Saint Xavier University women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau is thrilled with the attributes that these two young players bring to the program.

CHICAGO – Mariana Hoerr, a senior forward/midfielder at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville, Ohio, recently signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. The Canton, Ohio, native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2013 and compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 season. Saint Xavier University women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau is excited about the speed that Hoerr brings to the program since she was a member of Ohio's top 4x100 meter relay team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

CHICAGO – Amber Pringle, a senior midfielder at McHenry East High School in McHenry, Ill., recently signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. The McHenry native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2013 and compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 season. Saint Xavier University women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau was thrilled with what he saw in Pringle the first time he saw her play and sees her playing in the center of the midfield at the collegiate level.

CHICAGO – Gabbie Risolvato, a senior defender at Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, recently signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. The West Des Moines native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2013 and compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 season. SXU women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau loves the fact that not only is Risolvato bringing impressive credentials from the soccer field, but she is a quality student as well.

CHICAGO – Christy Bowgren, a senior midfielder at Hononegah High School in Rockton, Ill., recently signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. The Rockton, Ill., native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2013 and will compete for playing time on the field during the 2013 season. Bowgren will help fill the key losses in the midfield of seniors Nancy Schueth (Lincoln, Neb./Saint Pius X) and Tammy Contorno (Lemont, Ill./Lemont) next season.
