CHICAGO – Senior midfielder Nancy Schueth (Lincoln, Neb./Saint Pius X) scored an unassisted goal early in the second half, but it was not enough to offset a pair of first-half goals by Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) as Saint Xavier University fell 3-1 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) women's soccer action Tuesday night in Chicago. The loss ends a four-game win streak for the Cougars, who now sit at 9-5-1 overall and 5-3-0 (tie for fifth place) in the conference standings. IIT improves to 4-10-1 on the year with the victory and evens up its CCAC record at 4-4-0 for a seventh place tie.
