Ruberry joins the staff in 2011 as an assistant coach for the SXU women’s soccer program.  She enjoyed a very successful collegiate playing career (2004-08) as a defender at University of Florida where she helped lead the team to three SEC championships and three “Sweet 16” appearances in 2006, 2007 and 2008.  Ruberry finished her career at Florida ranked No. 10 in career minutes played and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2004, 2007 and 2008.  She went on to play for Aland United, a member of the Finnish Premier League, in the spring of 2011.

Ruberry worked as a student intern for the University of Florida women’s soccer team in the spring of 2009.  She also coached at the Florida Gator Soccer Camp in 2010.  She has also served as head coach and trainer of the Homewood-Flossmoor Soccer Club.

Ruberry received a degree in health education and behavior from the University of Florida in 2009.  She also minored in Communications.  Ruberry originally hails from Oak Forest, Ill., and played at Oak Forest High School and was an all-state selection in 2004.
