Pinkhasik is entering his 20th season of coaching at Saint Xavier. He has previously helped coach at the Russia Olympic volleyball school (1978-90) and for the Second City volleyball club (1992-98).
Pinkhasik graduated from the University of Bela Russia with a master's degree in physical education. He currently resides in Vernon Hills with wife, Raisa Genkina, and daughter, Yelena.
