Saint Xavier University student-athletes do more than just compete in games and practices. They are also hard-working students who contribute and give back to the community. They have pride in themselves and their programs and they try to be leaders and role models for both their teammates and others. Saint Xavier University is also part of the NAIA Champions of Character program with core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership. This page has been put together to display the good things that the Cougar student-athletes do outside of the game, practices and stats.
Nicole Gendron, a former SXU women's soccer player from 2007-10, recently completed an internship with the Saint Xavier University Sports Information Department. As part of her senior project, Gendron completed a website devoted to highlighting the off-the-field accomplishments of Cougar student-athletes. The link below will take you to her website and allow you to read stories that focus solely on the passion that many of our student-athletes have for helping others and being involved in community service.
