Janosz is in her first season as a student assistant coach for the 2010-11 women's cross country and track teams. In 2009, she wrapped a sensational four-year career with the Cougars helping lead the team to a No. 24 finish at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Vancouver, Wash. In fact, Janosz was a four-time All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) selection in cross country and qualified for the national meet three of her four seasons as a runner.
As a track athlete, Janosz helped established a new program-best time for the indoor distance-medley relay (DMR) with a time of 12:37.91. The time was good enough for a 14th place finish at the 2010 NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships in Johnson City, Tenn. In 2009, she also qualified for the indoor national meet in the 3,000-meter run as well as the DMR. Janosz also helped the 4x800 relay team earn a national-qualifying time during the outdoor season in 2009.
Janosz is completing her nursing degree at Saint Xavier University.
