CHICAGO - Megan Paradzinski, a senior outfielder at Munster High School in Munster, Ind., has signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar softball program. She will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2007 and will compete for playing time in the outfield during the 2008 season.
Paradzinski is the daughter of Tom and Sharon Paradzinski, both of Munster. She is currently coached by Beth Vesa as a Mustang at Munster High School. Paradzinski plans to pursue a degree in education at Saint Xavier University.
"Megan is one of the best defensive outfielders I have ever seen," said Saint Xavier University head softball coach Myra Minuskin. "She has tremendous speed and a great arm. Offensively, Megan is a very tough out and will be an integral part of our program as a freshman."
