CHICAGO - Saint Xavier University juniors Colleen Kilduff (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) and Jessica Wilson (Munster, Ind./Munster) werenamed the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for their impressive individual performances in three conference victories last week. The Cougars picked up a 16-0 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) last Tuesday and swept a doubleheader from Judson College (Ill.) on the following Thursday to improve to 3-0 in league play on the season.

Kilduff, a shortstop for SXU, batted .750 (6-for-8) on the week recording two doubles, a home run, six RBI and four runs scored. She finished the week with a slugging percentage of 1.375 and an on-base percentage of .750. Kilduff also was 1-for-1 on stolen base attempts and tallied three putouts and six assists in the field.

Wilson got two starts on the mound over the Cougars' three-game stretch and earned a perfect 2-0 win-loss record. She completed both games pitching 12 innings and giving up four hits and two runs (one earned). Wilson also struck out 20 batters, allowed just one walk and had an earned run average (ERA) of 0.75 on the week.

Saint Xavier returns to the field on Tuesday, March 29, with a 3 p.m. conference road doubleheader against Purdue North-Central (Ind.).
