CHICAGO - The No. 14 ranked Saint Xavier University softball team won its first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) game of the season Tuesday in a 16-0 five-inning victory over Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) at SXU Softball Field. Originally scheduled as an away contest, the game was played on SXU's field due to excessive moisture on CCSJ's field. Game two of the doubleheader was suspended after three innings due to darkness with SXU leading in the game, 6-0. The game will not be rescheduled. Saint Xavier improves to 7-9 overall with the win and 1-0 in league play.
