CHICAGO - Jacob Siska, a senior setter and right side at Oak Lawn Community High School in Oak Lawn, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue both his athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar men's volleyball program. The Hometown, Ill., native will be a freshman at SXU in the fall of 2010 and will compete for playing time on the court at the middle blocker position during the 2011 season.

Siska is the son of Robert and Heather Siska of Hometown. He is currently coached by Brad Skendzel at Oak Lawn Community High School. Siska also plays club volleyball on the CVC team led by Adolfo Garcia and based out of Chicago.

"Jacob comes from a strong high school program and also has club volleyball experience," said SXU men's volleyball coach Bob Heersema. "He will have the opportunity to play and compete right away and help us make the step to the next level."
