CHICAGO - Saint Xavier University junior shortstop Colleen Kilduff (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Softball Player of the Week Tuesday for her outstanding performance both offensively and defensively during SXU's nine-game stretch last week. Kilduff hit .467 (14-for-30) on the week and started at shortstop in all nine of the Cougars' games.

In addition to her batting average, Kilduff recorded three doubles, three home runs, 11 runs scored and 10 RBI. She had a slugging percentage of .867 and an on-base percentage of .543. In the field, Kilduff finished the week with 11 putouts and 19 assists without committing a single error. She currently leads the team in runs scored (29), home runs (7), and RBI (30).

Saint Xavier (25-11 overall, 10-1 CCAC) heads to Joliet, Ill., Wednesday to face CCAC rival University of St. Francis (Ill.) for a 5 p.m. doubleheader.
