CHICAGO -- Traci Looby, a senior at Andrew High School in Tinley Park, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's volleyball team.

Looby, who resides in Orland Hills, Ill., was coached by Kerri Goncher at Andrew H.S, where she was a setter/outside hitter for the Thunderbolts. She will serve as a setter for the Cougars this fall. Looby plans to pursue a degree in chemistry at Saint Xavier University. She is the daughter of Tom and Antoinette Looby, also of Tinley Park.

"We are looking forward to having Traci join our team," said SXU head women's volleyball coach Bob Heersema. "She is a setter, which fills a need for us, and has a lot of experience, both at the high school and club level. Traci should see playing time and is another incoming freshman that will help our program over the next four years."
