Bourbonnais, Ill. -- Sophomore forward Angie Holmes (Shorewood, Ill./Providence Catholic) and freshman forward Lissa Coby (Lake Villa, Ill./Grant Community) each scored a goal, but it was not enough to lift the Saint Xavier University women's soccer team over Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foe Olivet Nazarene University as the Cougars tied 2-2 Saturday in Bourbonnais, Ill. SXU currently sits at 8-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in the conference.

Coby struck first in the 24th minute of the game to put Saint Xavier ahead 1-0 off an assist from sophomore defender Kate Bingham (Lincoln, Neb./Pius X Catholic). Olivet tied the game at 1-1 with just over a minute remaining in the first half on an unassisted goal by Awna Johnson. Holmes got the go-ahead goal for SXU in the 63rd minute on another assist from Bingham, but the Cougars took not hold off Olivet as the Tigers tied the game with just over three minutes remaining in regulation on a goal by Caitie Horner.

The Cougars will play Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in Palos Heights, Ill., on Tuesday, October 5, at 7 p.m.
