CHICAGO - Freshmen Aleksandra Sudar (Omaha, Neb./Omaha Bryan) and Lissa Coby (Lake Villa, Ill./Grant Community) each scored a pair of goals Tuesday to help lead the Saint Xavier University women's soccer team over Illinois Institute of Technology, 8-2, at Stuart Field in Chicago. The Cougars improve their season record to 8-1 and currently sit at 2-1 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC).

In addition to the Sudar and Coby goals, senior captain Amanda Kreifels (Lincoln, Neb./Pius X Catholic), junior captain Jen Belmonte (Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South), junior Kristi Dockus (Oak Forest, Ill./Oak Forest) and freshman Brianne Jones (Jefferson, Wisc./Jefferson) each scored a goal for SXU. Saint Xavier led at halftime, 5-0, and amassed 28 shots on goal in the game.

The Cougars continues their six-game road stretch on Friday, September 24, with a non-conference game against University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
