KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the first time since mid-September of last season, Saint Xavier football is among the NAIA's top ten, improving one spot to No. 10 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll released on Monday.

The Cougars enjoyed a bye last weekend before jumping into five straight weeks of MSFA Midwest League play, but moved up in the poll following No. 11 Montana Tech's first loss of the season. SXU is the second-highest ranked program with one loss on the schedule, with a 4-1 record midway through the regular season. Saint Xavier is also currently the only Midwest League program receiving votes in the poll.

Three of the final five games are at home for the Cougars, beginning with Saturday's matchup with Trinity International. Kickoff from Deaton Field with the Trojans is set for 1:00 p.m.
