Kansas City, Mo. – Seniors Erik Diaz (Durango, Mexico/Chicago Academy), Peter London (Bridgeview, Ill./Dominican University/St. Laurence) and Kamil Szczesniak (Skomielna Biola, Poland/Reavis) as well as junior Fuad Abuzerr (Worth, Ill./Shepard) all represented Saint Xavier University as 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athletes when the honors were released by the NAIA national office late last week.  In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.     

Saint Xavier finished the 2016 season with a 5-10-4 overall record.  The Cougars placed sixth overall in the final CCAC standings with a 5-4-3 conference mark and qualified for the first round of the CCAC Men's Soccer Tournament.
