South Bend, Ind. - Freshman guard Jason Genova (Chicago, Ill./Saint Patrick) scored a game-high 20 points to lead No. 24 ranked Saint Xavier University to a 96-67 win over host Indiana-University-South Bend in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) men's basketball action Wednesday night in South Bend, Ind. In addition, senior guard Jason Reiter (Lemont, Ill./Lemont) also had a big outing for the Cougars (16-8 overall/4-2 CCAC) finishing with 19 points and five rebounds in the winning effort.

Sophomore forward Dan Bolger (Chicago, Ill./Saint Patrick) put up 11 points and pulled down five rebounds for SXU, while freshman forward Adam Gregoriou (Burbank, Ill./Brother Rice) came off the bench to score 10 points. Senior forward Jabari Saunders (Joliet, Ill./Township West) was tough on the glass finishing with a game-high seven rebounds. The Cougars shot a blistering 51 percent (18-for-35) in the first half en route to a 49-22 halftime lead.

SXU (16-8 overall, 4-2 CCAC) continues its conference schedule with a home game against on Saturday, February 4, to face Purdue University-Calumet (Ind.). Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
