CHICAGO - Behind a goal and two assists by senior forward Lissa Coby (Ingleside, Ill./Grant Community), the No. 15 ranked Saint Xavier University women's soccer team picked up a huge 3-1 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) victory over visiting Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) Wednesday at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field in Chicago. With the win, the Cougars improve to 11-1 overall and 5-1 in the conference standings, while the Tigers drop to 8-5-1 this season and 4-2 in league play.
SXU took an early lead in the game when freshman defender Katie DuPree (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) found the back of the goal off an assist from Coby in the game's fifth minute.
