CHICAGO - Freshman forward Lissa Coby (Lake Villa, Ill./Grant Community) was named both the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) and NAIA Region VII Women's Soccer Player of the Week Wednesday after a tremendous outing during the Cougars' three games last week. Coby scored five goals and recorded two assists over the three-game stretch leading SXU to a 2-1 record with wins over St. Ambrose University (Iowa) and Judson College (Ill.), respectively.

Currently, Coby leads the Cougars in both goals (20) and points scored (46). She has scored 20 goals in 16 games this season. She is ranked among the conference's best in both individual goals scored and points scored. The Cougars are 10-5-1 overall and are tied for fifth in the CCAC standings with a 3-3-1 mark.

Saint Xavier hosts University of St. Francis (Ill.) for a conference match-up on Wednesday, October 13. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m. at SXU stadium.
