CHICAGO - Kelsey Miller, a senior at Stillman Valley High School in Stillman Valley, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletics and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. She is currently a midfielder/defender under Lyn Larsen at Stillman Valley.
Kelsey is the daughter of Raymond and Debbie Miller, also of Stillman Valley, Ill. She plans to pursue a degree in biology/physical therapy at Saint Xavier University and is projected to continue to play either in the midfield or as a defender next fall for the Cougars.
"Kelsey is a hard-nosed player with great speed and a fantastic work ethic," said SXU women's soccer coach Derek Begich. "She's a very coachable player and makes the players around her better. Kelsey will help us look to improve on our 14-4-2 record last fall and will add depth to our midfield and defense."
