CHICAGO - Junior guard Brad Karp (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) and senior forward Dominique Harvey (Chicago, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) were both impressive as the No. 14 ranked Saint Xavier University men's basketball team rolled to a 104-74 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) victory over Roosevelt University (Ill.) Wednesday night at the UIC Physical Education Building in Chicago.  Karp finished with a game-high 23 points shooting a stellar 11-for-14 from the field, while Harvey scored 22 points and posted six rebounds, six assists and two blocks as well on the night.  The Cougars (2-2 overall/2-1 CCAC) converted a rare four-point play following a three-pointer by sophomore guard Jack Krieger (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North) in the opening seconds of play and never trailed en route to the 30-point win.

Junior point guard Roosevelt Green (Markham, Ill./Tinley Park) also had a nice game for SXU posting 15 points and game-high nine assists.  Krieger also scored in double figures for the Cougars with 14 points, including a pair of three-pointers.  Sophomore point guard Sean Crary (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) came off the bench to drop in 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting from the floor.  As a team, SXU shot 62 percent (37-for-60) from the field in the game, including a stellar 69 percent (18-for-26) in the second half.  The Cougars also did an excellent job at distributing the basketball Wednesday night racking up 24 assists.

Saint Xavier (2-2 overall/2-1 CCAC) continues its conference schedule on Saturday, November 17, with a road game against Trinity Christian College (Ill.).  The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start in Palos Heights, Ill.
