CHICAGO – A goal by sophomore forward Liceth Robles in the 69th minute of play proved to be the game's only scoring as the Saint Xavier University women's soccer team fell to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) rival University of St. Francis (Ill.), 1-0, Saturday afternoon at ATI Field in Joliet, Ill.  Freshman keeper Cortney Jerzy (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) finished with three saves for the Cougars.  SXU had plenty of chances to score in the game taking 21 shots in the game with six on goal attempts.

Saint Xavier (5-4-1 overall/1-2-0 CCAC) returns home and will host Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) on Tuesday, October 2.  The game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field in Chicago.
