Richmond Hill, Ga. – A pair of second-half goals gave first-year Saint Xavier University women's soccer coach Evan Strehlau his first career victory Friday night. The Cougars defeated Savannah College of Art & Design (Ga.), 2-1, at Devaul Henderson Park in Richmond Hill, Ga., but needed to rally after trailing 1-0 at the half. Freshman forward Alexis Cozzi (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) got her college career off to a great start with the season's first goal on an unassisted breakaway in the opening five minutes of the second half. Junior forward Anita Balciunas (Brookfield, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) tallied the game-winning goal off an assist from senior midfielder Tammy Contorno (Lemont, Ill./Lemont).
