CHICAGO - Senior guard Marissa Young (Monroe, Wis./St. Joseph's College/Monroe) surpassed the 1,000-point career milestone and freshman guard/forward Suzie Broski (Rockford, Ill./Boylan Catholic) scored a career-high 27 points, but that was it for the highlights for the No. 13 ranked Saint Xavier University women's basketball team Tuesday night at the Shannon Center in Chicago.  The Cougars (14-6 overall/1-1 CCAC) struggled taking care of the basketball with 23 turnovers and the visiting Tigers capitalized hitting 21 three-pointers en route to a 119-89 victory.  With nine minutes remaining in the first half, ONU closed out the frame on a 30-11 run that gave the visitors a 59-36 halftime advantage.

Freshman guard/forward Morgan Stuut (Marcellus, Mich./Three Rivers) posted another double-double, her 10thof the season, with 16 points and game-best 13 rebounds for the Cougars.  Senior forward Mary Kusner (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) also had a solid game with 13 points and nine boards; while Young chipped in 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals.  Olivet Nazarene was led in scoring by junior guard Danielle Tolbert and sophomore guard Taylor Haymes with 17 points apiece.  The last player to surpass 1,000 points in a career for SXU was Shalonda Young last season on January 29, 2011.
