Bourbonnais, Ill. - Despite 15 kills by junior Tara Breshock (Lansing, Ill./TF-South), the Saint Xavier University volleyball team fell to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) rival Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) in four games 27-30, 30-27, 26-30, 20-30 Tuesday night at McHie Arena in Bourbonnais, Ill. With the loss, the Cougars fall to 17-14 overall and 4-2 in the league standings.

Junior outside hitter Jessica Synowiecki (Oak Lawn, Ill./Moraine Valley CC) also played well in Tuesday's loss recording 13 kills and nine digs. Sophomore libero Jenna Guide (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) led the Cougars defensively with 22 digs, while junior setter Traci Looby (Orland Hills, Ill./Andrew) set up the offense with 42 assists.

Saint Xavier (17-14 overall/4-2 CCAC) heads to Florida this weekend to play Florida Gulf Coast University on Saturday, October 21. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. eastern time.
