CHICAGO - Steve Kadamian, a senior center midfielder/sweeper from Hononegah High School in Rockton, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue both his athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar men's soccer program. He was coached by Vee Jevremovic during his prep career for the Indians of Hononegah High School.

Kadamian is the son of Steve and Barb Kadamian of Rockton. He plans to pursue a degree in education/business next year at Saint Xavier University. SXU men's soccer coach Ed Vucinic plans to move Kadamian to the marking back position or outside midfield next fall.

"Steve is a great addition to our side and I'm very happy with his decision," said Vucinic. "We needed to become a faster team than last year and Steve will help us in that area. His technical and athletic ability will also give us some flexibility and help us in transition. Steve is another quality player out of the Rockford area with great credentials, both athletically and academically."
