CHICAGO - Saint Xavier University football coach Mike Feminis decided to cross the state line in an effort to improve his 2011 roster heading over to Lowell, Ind., to sign a pair of freshmen recruits from Lowell High School. Running back Cole Midgett and linebacker Jordan Juarez were two of the most recent additions to the 2011 Cougar roster for next fall. Both athletes earned first team recognition in the Lake Athletic Conference and were both named to the Class 4A All-State Team with Juarez (6-0, 210 lbs.) earning first team honors as a junior in 2009 and Midgett (5-9, 175 lbs.) claiming a spot on the honorable mention all-state squad.

"Cole fits perfectly in our spread offense," says Feminis. "He's extremely quick and has good breakaway speed, but he also has terrific hands and we use our running backs a lot as a slot receiver."

"Jordan might have fallen through the cracks, because he missed half of last season due to injury," continued Feminis. "He's a kid that we think can play inside or outside linebacker and we'll determine that once he gets to camp in August."
