CHICAGO - Sophomore outside hitter Aaron Porter (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) finished with 17 kills and three service aces to help lead Saint Xavier University to a Mid-America Men's Volleyball Intercollegiate Conference (MAMVIC) win over Robert Morris University (Ill.) Tuesday night at the Gentile Center in Chicago. The Cougars (3-6 overall) won the match in four sets by scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-15 and 25-15 and stayed perfect in the conference standings with the victory at 3-0. In addition, sophomore right side hitter Evan Muys (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) had a solid all-around outing for SXU finishing with eight kills, 15 digs and five block assists.

Saint Xavier (3-6 overall/3-0 MAMVIC) heads to Davenport, Iowa on Wednesday, February 16, for another MAMVIC match against Saint Ambrose University (Iowa). The road match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start with a junior varsity match scheduled right before at 5 p.m.
