CHICAGO - The recent cold and wet weather blanketing the Midwest over the last couple of weeks has caused the Saint Xavier University baseball team to restructure its upcoming schedule with plenty of additions and rescheduled match-ups. The Cougars are currently 14 games below the pace they had established last season when they had played 38 games through April 12.

Here is the list of upcoming changes in chronological order: 1.) The conference game against Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) originally scheduled for Thursday, April 12, has been postponed until Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m. at Richard R. Ferrell Memorial Field,

2.) A make-up game (from March 28) against conference rival Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) will take place on Monday, April 16, at 3 p.m. at Richard R. Ferrell Memorial Field,

3.) A game against NCAA Division I opponent Northern Illinois University has been added to the schedule for Tuesday, April 17, at 3 p.m. in DeKalb, Ill.

4.) The conference home game against Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Wednesday, April 18, at 3:30 p.m. has been switched to an away game in Palos Heights, Ill., for the same date and time,

5.) A home game has been added against NCAA Division I foe Chicago State University (Ill.) for Wednesday, April 25, at 3 p.m. at Richard R. Ferrell Memorial Field.

Saint Xavier (12-12 overall/5-1 CCAC) will host a conference game against Purdue University-North Central (Ind.) on Friday, April 13. The nine-inning affair is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at Richard R. Ferrell Memorial Field in Chicago.
