CHICAGO - For the second straight week, Saint Xavier University freshman keeper Kyle Held (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week when the honor was released by the conference office late Tuesday. Held logged his second collegiate shutout behind eight saves in SXU's only game on the week, a 2-0 road win over non-conference foe Goshen College (Ind.).

The Cougars are off to a good start sitting at 3-2 overall this season with their only two losses each coming by just a goal, a 1-0 loss to then-No. 1 ranked Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) and a 3-2 setback to Grand View University (Iowa). Held leads the team with 26 saves and two shutouts over five games and holds a 0.82 goals-against average (GAA).

Saint Xavier (3-2-0 overall) opens its CCAC slate on Friday, September 17, with a road game against rival University of St. Francis (Ill.). The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start in Joliet, Ill.
