Bourbonnais, Ill. - Despite seven saves by freshman goalkeeper Danielle Wagner (Worth, Ill./Stagg), the No. 11 ranked Saint Xavier University women's soccer team could not find its offense Saturday falling 1-0 to unranked Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action in Bourbonnais, Ill. SXU falls to 7-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while ONU improves to 4-3-1 overall with a 1-1 league mark.

Olivet finished the game with eight shots on goal compared to just six by the Cougars. Senior defender Casey Stenzinger logged the game's only goal in the 23rd minute of regulation off an assist from freshman midfielder Mackensie Duvendack. ONU freshman goalkeeper Danielle Johnston finished the game with six saves.

Saint Xavier (7-3 overall, 1-2 CCAC) returns to action on Tuesday, September 26, with a non-conference home game against Spring Arbor University (Mich.). Start time for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field in Chicago.
