Women's Cross Country - Wed, Feb. 10, 2010
CHICAGO - Jordan Wallace, a senior cross country and track standout at Lincoln-Way North High School in Frankfort, Ill., has chosen to attend Saint Xavier University to continue her academic and athletic careers as a member of the Cougar women's cross country and track programs. Wallace, a Frankfort native, will graduate from Lincoln-Way North High School this spring and ran track and cross-country all four years in high school. She qualified for the state finals in the 3200-meter run as a senior and in cross-country both her junior and senior years. SXU women's cross-country and track coach Lisa Ebel is thrilled about adding Wallace to the Cougar cross-country and track squads.

"Jordan is a perfect fit for our teams," said Ebel. "She will not only be able to help us, but our teams will be able to help her reach her full potential. We can't wait to have Wallace's athletic ability, competitive nature and high standards added to our track and cross-country teams."

Wallace is planning to enter the nursing program next fall at SXU. She is the daughter of Rob and Julie Wallace and was coached by Brooke Vesely at Lincoln-Way North. She started her track and cross country career at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Ill., before making the move over to Lincoln-Way North.
