Joliet, Ill. - Saint Xavier University senior forward Erin Hannemann (Homer Glen, Ill./Providence Catholic) continues to put together outstanding performances for the No. 2 ranked Cougars as she earned her second straight Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week award late Tuesday for the week ending January 10. Hannemann averaged a double-double last week of 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, while also posting four assists, three steals and three blocked shots over the stretch. It is the third time this season that she has been recognized for the award. In a conference win over Holy Cross College (80-45), Hannemann scored 17 points and grabbed 12 boards. She also had two blocks, a steal and an assist. In a tough 79-74 road win over No. 25 ranked Georgetown College (Ky.), Hannemann tallied 22 points and nine rebounds to go along with three assists, two steals and a block. She made 8-of-12 (67 percent) shot attempts from the field. In the two games combined, Hannemann shot an impressive 69.6 percent from the field (16-for-23). Hannemann is currently fifth in the league in scoring at 13.3 points-per-game and second with her 7.8 rebounds-per-game average. She also leads the league with her 59.6 percent field goal percentage.

Saint Xavier (17-1 overall/2-1 CCAC) heads to Bourbonnais, Ill., on Saturday, January 16, to take on Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.). The CCAC match-up tips off at 1 p.m.
