CHICAGO - A missed free throw with four seconds remaining in regulation on a three-point play opportunity cost No. 10 Saint Xavier University a chance to tie the game and Dakota Wesleyan University (S.D.) was able to hang on and capture a 76-74 victory in the fifth-place game of the 2009 SXU Men's Basketball Midwest Tournament Wednesday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago.
