CHICAGO -- Christina Duncan, a senior forward at Rockford East High School in Rockford, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University in Chicago as a member of the Cougar women's soccer program. Duncan is the daughter of Tracey Hunter, who resides in Rockford, Ill.
Duncan is expected to play at the forward position next season at Saint Xavier University. She plans to pursue a degree in nursing. Duncan played under Katie Hamm during her career as a E-Rab at Rockford East High School.
"Christina is another wonderful addition to this year's recruiting class and will add some great depth to our program," said Saint Xavier University head women's soccer coach Derek Begich. "She is going to be a great target for us up front. Christina is strong on the ball, has a good first touch and does a great job getting endline and serving balls into the box."
