Joliet, Ill. - For the fifth time this season, Saint Xavier University junior forward Erin Hannemann (Homer Glen, Ill./Providence Catholic) has captured the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week award after leading the Cougars to two more victories and setting a new school record in the process during the week ending January 18. She established a new SXU mark with her 18 rebounds in a league-opening 67-52 victory over Robert Morris College (Ill.) on January 13 and matched that rebound total with her 18 points in the affair in addition to her four assists and three steals.

Hannemann collected another 16 points, five steals and four rebounds in a 77-49 victory over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) back on January 17. Besides averaging 17.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.5 assists over the two-game stretch, she also missed only one shot from the field in each of the two contests going a combined 15-of-17 (.882) for the week. Hannemann has earned the weekly recognition five of the 10 times it has been awarded this season. She is currently the leading scorer (18.6 points per game) for the No. 7 ranked Cougars, who moved up two spots in the NAIA's Top 10 when the latest Top 25 Poll was released Monday.

Saint Xavier (14-3 overall/1-0 CCAC) heads to Milwaukee, Wis., on Wednesday, January 21, to take on Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.). The non-conference match-up is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
