Joliet, Ill. - For the second straight week and the sixth time already this season, Saint Xavier University junior forward Erin Hannemann (Homer Glen, Ill./Providence Catholic) garnered Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week honors after leading the Cougars to two more victories and surpassing a career milestone during the week ending January 25. Hannemann surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career in a 75-68 victory over Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) on January 21 when she tallied 23 points and 14 rebounds in authoring her eighth double-double of the season. Along with those numbers, she also collected three assists, three steals and two blocks.

Hannemann came up big again three days later (January 24) in a conference battle with Indiana University-South Bend (IUSB) leading her team in scoring for the 12th time this season and the fifth game in a row with 27 points. Added to that, she produced both four rebounds and four steals in the 82-78 victory. Combining the two games, Hannemann averaged 25.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.0 assists over the stretch, while also shooting .531 from the field (17-of-32) and .889 from the foul line (.889).

Saint Xavier (16-3 overall/2-0 CCAC) heads to Joliet, Ill., on Wednesday, January 28, to take on conference rival University of St. Francis (Ill.). The match-up is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.
