Deerfield, Ill. - Despite a goal by freshman forward Morgan Campbell (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Hayes), the No. 18 ranked Saint Xavier University women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foe Trinity International University (Ill.), 2-1, Saturday in double overtime. The Cougars fall to 4-2-1 overall with the loss and evens its league mark at 1-1.

Both teams took 17 shots in the game. Campbell scored her game-tying goal in the 76th minute of regulation off an assist from junior forward Angie Holmes (Shorewood, Ill./Providence Catholic). Senior goalkeeper Melissa Painter (Elk Grove, Calif./William Penn University) finished with 12 saves between the posts for Saint Xavier.

SXU (4-2-1 overall/1-1 CCAC) heads to Joliet, Ill., on Tuesday, September 20, to face CCAC rival University of St. Francis (Ill.) for a 4 p.m. game.
