CHICAGO - Cody Culver, a senior midfielder at Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Ill., has recently signed a letter of intent to continue both his athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar men's soccer program. Culver, a native of Roscoe, Ill., will likely play at the outside midfield position next fall for SXU.
Culver is coached by Jeremy Bois as a Huskie at Harlem High School. He is the son of Brent and Rinelle Culver of Roscoe and is still undecided on what he plans to study at Saint Xavier University.
"Cody brings our program a great blend of speed, technical ability, and tenacity on the outside and up front," said SXU men's soccer coach Ed Vucinic. "He has played with and against a very high level of talent and has been taught by some tremendous coaches and that will be extremely beneficial. I'm looking forward to seeing how quickly he can make an impact with us."
