CHICAGO - Danielle Malloy, a senior middle/outside hitter for Tinley Park High School in Tinley Park, Ill., has signed a letter of intent to continue both her athletic and academic career at Saint Xavier University as a member of the Cougar volleyball program. She was coached by Mike Mongan during her prep career for the Titans of Tinley Park.

Malloy is the daughter of Frank and Polly Malloy of Tinley Park. She is a three-time all-conference selection in volleyball and also plays basketball and track for the Titans. In fact, she was a two-time state qualifier in the high jump. Malloy is looking to pursue a degree in mass communication next year at Saint Xavier University.

"Danielle was a very decorated three-sport athlete at Tinley Park High School," said Saint Xavier University head volleyball coach Bob Heersema. "I'm very excited that she chose volleyball as the sport to play during her collegiate career and I think she is going to develop into a great player."
