CHICAGO - It was a record-setting night for Saint Xavier University senior guard Angie Brown (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore). Brown made nine three-pointers and scored a game-high 35 points, both new school records, en route to a 99-70 SXU victory over Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foe Robert Morris College Tuesday at the Gentile Center in Chicago. The No. 5 ranked Cougars improve to 18-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play with the big road win.

It was also a big night for senior guard Candis Jackson (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young). Jackson finished Tuesday's game with 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. The Cougars were in control most of the game taking a 17-point lead, 49-32, into the locker room at halftime. Robert Morris finished the game with 21 turnovers.

The previous two school records for scoring and three-pointers made in a single game were 33 points and eight three-pointers, respectively. The previous scoring mark was shared by Rachel Merkell (vs. McKendree on Jan. 5, 2005) and Mary Cain (vs. Indiana-South-Bend on Jan. 11, 2003). Brown owned the previous three-point record of eight treys, which she set against Olivet Nazarene University on Jan. 26, 2006.

Saint Xavier (18-2 overall/3-1 CCAC) returns home to face CCAC rival University of St. Francis (Ill.) on Saturday, January 27. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
