South Bend, Ind. - Freshman Steven Bugarin (Chicago, Ill./Washington) finished in a time of 27:42 (No. 82) for Saint Xavier at the National Catholic Cross Country Invitational on Friday at Notre Dame.
The other two finishers for the Cougars were senior Carlos Jaramillo (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way) and junior Chris Farley (Chicago, Ill./Marist) with times of 32:54 (No. 218) and 34:47 (No. 225), respectively.
Because Saint Xavier did not have the required five runners for a team placing, the scores accumulated by the runners in the race were individual. Bugarin individually placed 32nd out of 155 runners in the Division II category. Jaramillo and Farley each posted individual placings in the same category of 144 and 149, respectively.
