Men's Soccer - Sat, Oct. 2, 2004
Bourbonnais, Ill. -- Senior defender Tim Neighbors (Palos Park, Ill./Moraine Valley CC) scored a goal in the 17th minute of the game to lift the Saint Xavier University men's soccer team over Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foe Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), 1-0, Saturday in Bourbonnais, Ill. The win improves the Cougars to 8-2-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in league play.

Senior goalkeeper Enrique Orejel (Chicago, Ill./Curie) may have been most instrumental in SXU's winning effort Saturday by stopping a Tiger penalty shot in the fifth minute of regulation to keep Olivet scoreless. Orejel also finished the game with seven saves in the shutout. Freshman Matt Prunckle (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) provided the assist on the Neighbors' goal. The Cougars will host Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Wednesday, October 6, at SXU stadium. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
