Joliet, Ill. - Saint Xavier University senior second baseman Colleen Kilduff (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) and senior pitcher Jessica Wilson (Munster, Ind./Munster) swept NAIA Region VII and Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, respectively, Tuesday after their impressive individual outings in SXU's six wins in softball action last week. Kilduff and Wilson helped lead the No. 19 ranked Cougars to six straight victories in last week's six-game stretch and improved the team's overall record to 17-7.

Kilduff went 11-for-19 (.579) at the plate and recorded a double, four home runs, 10 runs scored, and 13 RBI. Starting all six games at second base, she also racked up a stellar slugging percentage of 1.263 on the week. Wilson was just tough in her three appearances on the mound last week posting a perfect 3-0 record and not allowing a single earned run. Pitching a total of 19 innings on the week, Wilson also tallied 17 strikeouts and allowed just one walk and 13 hits.

The Cougars (17-7 overall/8-0 CCAC) continue their conference schedule with a Tuesday home doubleheader against CCAC rival Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.). Start time for the twin bill is 3 p.m. at the SXU Softball Field in Chicago.
