Joliet, Ill. - Saint Xavier University senior second baseman Colleen Kilduff (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) swept Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) and NAIA Region VII Player of the Week honors Wednesday after her impressive individual outings as SXU finished 6-2 overall in softball action last week. Kilduff helped lead the No. 18 ranked Cougars to two big conference wins over Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) last Tuesday (April 4) as well as four straight wins at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Softball Tournament over the weekend.

Kilduff went 14-for-25 (.560) at the plate over the eight-game stretch and recorded five doubles, a triple, a home run, seven runs scored, and 16 RBI. Starting all eight games at second base, she also racked up 11 assists and 16 putouts all without committing a single error for a perfect fielding percentage (1.000).

The Cougars (25-9 overall/12-2 CCAC) continue their CCAC slate with a road doubleheader against Robert Morris College (Ill.) on Thursday, April 13. Start time for game one of the twinbill is 4 p.m. in Orland Park, Ill.
